Founded in 1959 by James Peterson in Portland, Indiana, Jay Petroleum has grown from a local fuel provider into a leading convenience store chain and fuel distributor. Over the past 65 years, we’ve expanded our footprint across northern Indiana and northwest Ohio, operating 56 convenience stores under the Pak-A-Sak and Party Mart brands. In addition to the proprietary selections on offer in our locations, we also partner with national food brands, such as Subway, and Papa John’s, to offer our customers the wide range of options they deserve.
Our commitment to community and service has driven our growth, including the acquisition of 22 Party Mart locations in 2020. As a 100% employee-owned company since 2008, we take pride in fostering a culture of loyalty and dedication among our over 725 employees.
